Hehe - "Bien Manger" à la French! ;-)

Hey there!! Well, I am not quite ready to post my next recipe, so in the meantime, here's a little tip that's likely to make your mouth water...

Last night - as hubby was at rugby game and I got bored with TV - I discovered a brilliant French online shop (rare enough to be mentioned): http://www.bienmanger.com. What makes it all the more special is that they sell gourmet food products and they ship them to the UK (fixed shipping costs €15.00 for UK shipping, allow 7 days for delivery). And you're spoilt for choice too!!

There you'll find anything from a variety of  flours (chick pea flour to make vegetable bhaji anyone?), cheeses, cured meats (think award-winning dry sausages, cured ham, etc.), foie gras of course, spices (all sorts of them), but also jams, honey, vinegars (balsamic, cider, truffle-flavoured, etc.), oils and other such pickles...

The variety of products they sell is impressive. You have a vast choice of products in each range. The site's very simple to navigate too. They've got everything for the keen amateur or the experimented cook, they even sell the hyped-up culinary additives that the likes of Ferran Adria and Heston Blumenthal use in their Sci-Fi-style cuisine, they sell them separately, or you can buy a complete spherification kit.

You can also find more traditional products, such as biscuits, sweets, chocolate specialities, as well as alcoholic specialities such as local wines, aged Armagnacs, cider, beers (one can only regret that there isn't any British beer). In short, for anyone who doesn't live in the capital or doesn't have the sort of money that takes them shopping to Harrod's on a regular basis, here's your online gourmet shop!  I'm definitely gonna buy from it soon! I'll keep you posted ;-)!

Bye for now...   1_condiments (photo©bienmanger.com)
